Garett + Kaitlyn + Daisy + Harry Winston = Happy

I know I probably say this a lot, but I LOVE it when we get a couple that are friends of past brides and grooms. It reaffirms that we are doing it right, and it starts the session off with optimism on both sides of the camera; and it always shows in the final product. This is Kaitlyn and Garrett, who were referred to us from Chris and Angela, who were in the wedding party for Megan and Chase, who were guests at Drew and Jessica’s wedding, who heard about us through Becky from Drury, who flew us to Cabo to photograph she and Scott’s beautiful sunset beach wedding. I could go back through this chain of referrals further, but I might bore you.;)With that being said, we love ALL of our past clients and appreciate every one of you and the kind things you say about D-Co- Pho!

Todd & Heather ~ “Elegantly Wed” 5.12.12

This last Saturday brought us to Todd and Heather’s wedding, and it was one to remember.  Classic black and white elegance completed the lavish decor, along with a beautiful church ceremony, and reception at Hickory Hills Country Club.  These two were eager to start their “forever” together and it was great fun to capture their picture-perfect day!  Congrats and best wishes for many happy years together!

Tim & Brittany ~ Decided on Forever 5.5.12

Tim and Brittany’s rustic, country wedding at Creedstown in Rogersville with reception in downtown Springfield at the Veridian, was all about the moment.  If there is one thing that we have learned about weddings (after shooting 200+ of them) is that they NEVER really go according to plan.  With this special couple, their love for one another, and laid back, relaxed attitudes let their day shine despite some shuffling and changes that were beyond any of our control.  At the end of the day what is truly important is that two people that are so happy to begin their “forever” together enjoy their family, each other, and all the silly little unplanned moments in between.  Tim and Brittany, you chose joy on your big day, and to that we say congratulations for a lasting marriage.

Will & Monica ~ Real Wedding 4.28.12

What can I say about this couple besides we would totally hang out with them.  We love all of our clients, but we really clicked with Will and Monica, between Will’s “sense of humor” ( I suffer from sometimes cracking a joke at the wrong time) and Monica’s style and kind hearted personality (if you know Sarah, that is her fo sho), we could have visited for hours. The wedding and reception was put together with such great detail that it made a beautiful venue shine! They had fun, they cried, and they thanked, it was an honor to be a part of a “real wedding”!  Congrats, guys!

Conner ~ Nixa Eagle Senior 2012

This is it! This is officially the LAST senior from 2012, and he’s from Nixa! That’s right, he is an Eagle wrestler and football player. When I asked his dad if it was bittersweet, he replied “bitter”. He has really enjoyed being at the games and matches and you can see how proud he is of Conner. What’s cool is that his competitive nature has done nothing but benefit his future as he plans on going to college and is sure to do amazing things in the community. Congrats to all our 2012 seniors as you close this chapter.  -To all the 2013 seniors about to come up to the plate, we are ready to book your session!
